In Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House supports families of seriously ill children by creating a community of comfort and hope. Their programs include two Ronald McDonald Houses, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and Ronald McDonald Camp.

In Scranton

The Scranton Ronald McDonald House’s mission is to provide a home away from home for families with seriously ill or injured children in area (Scranton/Wilkes Barre) Medical Facilities. 

American Heart Association 

The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. To fight these diseases, they fund innovative research, advocate for stronger public health policies, and provide critical tools and information to save and improve lives.

Mended Little Hearts of Philadelphia

The Mended Little Hearts’ mission is to provide hope and support to children, families and caregivers impacted by congenital heart defects in order to extend and improve quality of life.

Make-A-Wish 

The Make-A-Wish® vision is to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a critical illness. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 34 minutes. A wish experience is frequently a source of inspiration for children undergoing difficult medical treatments.

Providing Arts-in-Medicine supportive care programs for children coping with serious illness, their families and the health care providers who care for them. They are

Icing Smiles

Icing Smiles is a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. Their goal is to create a custom cake for the ill child, or their sibling, that provides a temporary escape from worry and creates a positive memory during a difficult time.
